Supporting programme

The 50th anniversary of the building of the Berlin Wall is the starting point for a large number of events, activities and projects in Berlin. The many events are listed together in the calendar of events and constantly updated. A printed programme will be available in summer 2011.

Berliners and visitors to the city are invited to attend the wide-ranging cultural activities and events marking this year’s 50th anniversary of the building of the Berlin Wall, such as:

Wall Relay – relay race and film project – the path of the Berlin Wall as a film set and exhibition location.

Behind the Wallexhibition – in the Orangery at Glienicke Palace. The exhibition presents the history of the Berlin Wall, which divided the “Prussian Arcadia” in Klein Glienicke. 19 June until 3 October 2011.
