Commemorating the building of the Berlin Wall fifty years ago: photographs and experiences of refugees in the Marienfelde Refugee Centerfilm presentation and panel discussion with contemporary witnesses
10 August 2011, 7 p.m.

To mark the year commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the building of the Berlin Wall, contemporary witnesses will take part in a panel discussion on the situation in the Marienfelde Refugee Center at the time when the Wall was built. The panel guests will view previously unseen film scenes from that period, which will give an impression of the refugee centre at that time.
